BPO: Focus Week on Business Process Outsourcing

After a great week in Miami at the National Minority Supplier Development Conference, we are moving away from Supplier Diversity to a more familiar topic: Business Proces Outsourcing. Outsourcing remains a contentious topic in America as mid term elections approach, but as World Bank consultant and SAIBL Business Forum expert Pumela Salela will point out this week, outsourcing is a boon for communities in some developing countries.

South Africa remains keen on building its international market share of call center outsourcing, while simultaneously building its capacity to compete for lucrative contracts in higher value business processes such as accounting and other financial services.
